General
These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and the process for placing orders for items from www.miuartstudio.co.uk. To register on the site and make purchases with Miu Art Studio, you must be aged 18 or over. By placing orders or utilizing other services on www.miuartstudio.co.uk, you are considered to have comprehended and agreed to these terms. For any inquiries, you can reach us through the Contact Us page at miuartstudio.co.uk. Please note that we may contact you for market research purposes.
Your Order
Orders and Contract
Your order for goods or services is considered accepted, and a contract is formed between Miu Art Studio and you when we dispatch the goods or service you have ordered, not before. The contract is not formed when payment is taken from you by Miu Art Studio or when you receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. Until the goods or service are dispatched or delivered, the order may not be accepted by Miu Art Studio, or you may choose to cancel it. Please note that exceptions apply to orders for personalized items and goods made to your order, which cannot be canceled by you once you have received an email confirmation of order receipt, as these items may already be in production due to your order. For a full list of exceptions to items you can return, please refer to the section titled “EXCEPTIONS TO THE RETURNS POLICY.”
After the contract is formed, Miu Art Studio shall continue to own any goods ordered until full payment has been received from you, even if the goods have already been delivered. Purchases from Miu Art Studio Online, including in-stall purchases, will be charged on the day the goods are dispatched or purchased in-stall.
Cancelation and Return Policy
As per Consumer Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving the goods or service. However, please note that this right to cancel does not apply to Made to Order, Customed, Artist Signed Prints, and Commissions items, including such products as made-to-order silk, costumed handmade gifts, and personalized goods. Additionally, this right does not apply to online workshops, workshop kits with tutorials, downloadable silk painting studying materials, and tutorials.
To initiate a cancellation, you must inform us in writing via email or by using the contact form on www.miuartstudio.co.uk within 14 days from the day after receiving your goods. It’s essential to take reasonable care of the goods and refrain from using them. The items should be returned to us in their original packaging, wherever possible, within 14 days of informing us of your wish to cancel. Please note that if you return goods to us, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage during transit. We recommend using a recorded or secure delivery method. In the event of loss or damage during transit, we may charge you or withhold amounts from your refund to cover the attributable loss or damage. For detailed instructions on how to return goods, please refer to the RETURNS section.
Please be aware that we cannot accept substitute or alternative items for returns, nor can we send them back to you. Therefore, please carefully examine the items you wish to return to us. Attempting to return substitute or alternative items will not negate your responsibility for paying for the original purchased item, and we reserve the right to charge an investigation fee of no less than £35 to cover the cost of investigating the matter. We may offset this amount from other sums that may be due to you for refunds. Accepting returned goods and/or crediting an account does not waive our right to charge an investigation fee.
For complete details of your rights under the Consumer Protection Regulations, we advise you to contact your Citizens Advice Bureau or a Solicitor. Additional terms and conditions may apply to cancel orders for specific goods, such as made-to-order items, video subscriptions, and workshop kits. Please refer to the terms relating to the supply of those goods.
Delivery Terms
Local Pick Up
If you purchase from Miu Art Studio and choose local pick up, then it is FREE on any subsequent days, you can pick up your item from a specified local gift shop in Huntly. You will be advised of the shop address and the earliest delivery date at the time of order. Your order processing time depends on the type of items your order, for example, made-to-order can take up to 3 weeks to finish the process, and the processing time remains to same for all delivery choices. Please read the description carefully before purchasing from Miu Art Studio. Made to Order delivery times cannot be guaranteed. We will email you when your order is ready for collection. Parcels will be available for collection in the shop on the stated delivery day after 12 noon. Orders delivered to the shop that are not collected within 10 days of the collection date will be returned to the warehouse and a refund processed (exceptional items not included).
Courier Delivery
Our courier charge choice is listed under each item, for international courier service you can choose to express otherwise the default service will be first-class international signed. Our standard courier delivery charge is per delivery for one-person delivery items. When the standard courier service is not available, Miu Art Studio will deliver by an alternative carrier and this may take longer. Delivery time will show when you place the order.
Specific delivery details will be confirmed at the time you order. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed. No delivery services are available on a bank holiday. Over the festival/holiday periods our standard delivery services may be affected, specific delivery details will be confirmed at the time of order.
Delivery Charges
Our standard courier delivery is varying to the item per order for one-person delivery items. Your billing address will be the default delivery address. Gift standard delivery Royal Mail 1st class, £4.95 Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery, Special delivery £6.95. Free delivery offers are subject to availability and the choice will automatically be listed during the checkout. If applicable FREE UK/International Standard delivery will apply. Art Prints and large Framed Art Works shipping fees will be classified while purchasing. These additional delivery charges will not be refunded if you cancel or return your order unless the product is faulty or does not fit the description given. Over Festival/Holiday periods our standard delivery services may be affected, specific delivery details will be confirmed at the time of order.
Workshops
Booking and Cacellation
By booking a silk painting workshop with Miu Art Studio, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
In the event that the workshop needs to be canceled due to adverse weather conditions or government public announcements, Miu Art Studio will take responsibility for rearranging the date of the workshop. We are dedicated to ensuring that you have the opportunity to participate in the workshop at a convenient nd secure time.
Kindly be advised that Miu Art Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the workshop date under unforeseen circumstances. In such instances, we will make every effort to provide you with timely notice and offer appropriate alternatives.
We recommend booking your workshop in advance, especially for group bookings and special occasions, to ensure our instructor has enough time to prepare a smooth and enjoyable workshop for you. Cancellations must be made at least one week before the scheduled workshop. No cancellations will be accepted after this time slot.
Ticket Transfer
In the event that you are unable to attend the workshop, you have the option to transfer your ticket to a family member or friend to participate on your behalf. We kindly request that you inform us in advance about any ticket transfers to facilitate a smooth check-in process. This policy also extends to workshop gift vouchers.
Refund Policy
There will be no refunds for cancellations made after the specified cancellation period. Once the return period has passed, refunds will not be granted.
Ownership of Materials
All workshop items, supplies, and materials are the property of Miu Art Studio. Participants can take home only their finished artwork unless they have purchased the items separately.

We encourage all attendees to treat our instructors and fellow participants with respect and kindness. Let’s embrace positivity and ensure a warm and welcoming environment for everyone. Personal Belongings Disclaimer
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the workshop. We recommend refraining from wearing expensive clothes, jewelry, and valuable items, as we cannot be held liable for stains, damage, or loss of personal items. Your cooperation ensures a worry-free and enjoyable experience for all. Thank you for your understanding.

Returns & Refunds
You may return items in new and unused condition. Items should be returned in the original packaging, if the package is broken, we may be unable to process a refund/full refund. If you want to cancel/return your order you must tell us within 14 days (beginning on the day after the day you receive the goods), and you then have 14 days to return the items. f you are returning an item, please copy your receipt and post it with the item you are returning. The responsible for the return courier charge and risk is your own. If you paid for the order by credit/ debit card, PayPal or Apple pay, any charges will be deducted from your refund. Items bought in stall/event/giftshop cannot be returned via a courier and must be returned in person please get in touch at info@miuartstudio.co.uk

Exceptions to the Returns Policy
The following exceptions apply to our returns policy.
No refunds or exchanges can be given on items made to your specification, made to measure items, unless there is a faulty or the goods are not as ordered. Gift cards/ eGiftcards/vouchers/promotion codes/coupons cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. Returned items which are not in new or unused condition may not be fully credited to your account unless they are faulty. This does not affect your right to return faulty items.
Due to the bespoke nature of these items you can only return items that are faulty, do not fit their description, or meet your instructions. If our order is faulty in any way, please contact us on info@miuarttudio.co.uk

For Items listed above cancellation is not possible after the order has been placed and accepted.
To return a faulty item
You must inform us of your wish to cancel in writing either by letter or email within a period of 14 days. The period of 14 days begins on the day after the day you receive your goods. You must send a receipt along with the item to prove you bought the faulty item directly from Miu Art Studio, and take reasonable care of the goods and not use them. You should return goods to us in their original packaging, wherever possible, as soon as possible after informing us of your wish to cancel. If you return goods to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit and we recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method. If goods are lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund to you, amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage.

Refunds
The refund process can take up to 28 days, from receipt of the goods. Refunds of ‘returned Products’ lost in transit will not be considered, you need to contact the courier customer service to get your compensation from your courier company.

The taking of payment from you by Miu Art Studio under any of the means set out above or in accordance with a Miu Art studio Account does not indicate that a contract has been formed between you and Miu Art Studio. By completing and submitting the electronic order form including your payment details you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Payment will be refunded to you if your offer is later refused or rejected by Miu Art Studio.
Coupons/Discount Code
Validity and Usage
1. Single-Use Only: Coupons are valid for one order only until the expiration date indicated with the offer.
2. Online Orders: Coupons are applicable for orders placed online at www.miuartstudio.co.uk and are not valid for purchases made at stalls or partner gift shops.
3. Exclusions: Coupons cannot be used for certain excluded products or services, as specified in each individual promotion.
4. Eligibility: To use a coupon, you must be at least 18 years old and meet any specific conditions attached to the promotion.
Payment and Returns
1. Non-Refundable: If an order made using a coupon is returned, the coupon value is not refundable.
2. Minimum Spend: Certain coupons may require a minimum purchase amount to be applicable.
3. Additional Payment: If the order value exceeds the coupon amount, the balance must be paid using a debit or credit card.
4. Charge Timing: When using a combination of a coupon and a debit or credit card, charges will be applied at the time of order, not at the time of dispatch.
5. Return Deductions: If goods purchased with a coupon are returned, the value of the coupon will be deducted from the refund amount.

Ownership and Liability
1. Non-Transferable: Coupons cannot be resold or exchanged for cash.
2. Liability: Miu Art Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged coupons and will not replace or refund their value.
3. Ownership: All issued coupons remain the property of Miu Art Studio.
4. Customer Conduct: Miu Art Studio reserves the right to revoke any coupon if fraud, technical failures, or any other factors beyond our reasonable control impair the integrity of the promotion.
General Provisions
1. Geographic Restrictions: Coupons are valid for use in specified locations only, as detailed in each individual promotion.
2. Cancellation Policy: In case of order cancellation, the coupon used will not be reinstated.
3. Data Usage: By using a coupon, you consent to the collection and use of your data as per our Privacy Policy.
4. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes related to the use of coupons will be resolved through the applicable legal channels.

Corrrections
Descriptions of goods and services are accurate to the best of our knowledge. We do our best to correct errors or omissions as soon as we are aware of them. However, you should be aware that the colours and appearance of product images vary very slightly from the way they appear on the screen and on different devices. Silk scarves from Miu Art Studio are hand roll edges, the final product size may vary by 1~2 cm, and the hand-painted items are unique and may appear slightly different every time. Also, print sizes can vary slightly between production batches. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you wait to receive your unframed prints before committing to third-party frames. If you need to know the precise dimensions of a product, please contact us.

Reviews and Customer Ratings
These Terms of Use govern your conduct associated with the Customer Ratings and Review service offered by Miu Art Studio.
- By submitting any content to Miu Art Studio, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the sole author and have not copied the content from any third party;
- All content that you post is accurate;
- Use of the content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use and will not cause injury to any person or entity.
- You further agree and warrant that you shall not submit any content:
- That is known by you to be false, inaccurate, or misleading;
- That infringes any third party’s copyright, trademark, or privacy;
- That is, or may reasonably be considered to be, defamatory, racially or religiously biased or offensive, contains obscene language, or is threatening or harassing to any individual, partnership, or corporation;
- That includes any information that references other websites, addresses, email addresses, contact information or phone numbers; or
- That contains any computer viruses, worms, or other potentially damaging computer programs or files. For any content that you submit, you grant Miu Art Studio a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you.
- All content that you submit may be used at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to change, condense or delete any content on our websites that we deem, in its sole discretion, to violate the content guidelines or any other provision of these Terms of Use. We do not guarantee that you will have any recourse through Miu Art Studio to edit or delete any content you have submitted.
- Ratings and written comments are generally posted within two to four business days. However, we reserve the right to remove or refuse to post any submission for any reason. You acknowledge that you, not Miu Art Studio, are responsible for the contents of your submission.
- None of the content that you submit shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of Miu Art Studio, its partners, or third-party service providers and employees.
- By submitting your email address in connection with your rating and review, you agree that Miu Art Studio and its third-party service providers may use your email address to contact you about the status of your review and other administrative purposes.
Prices
The prices shown are inclusive of any value added tax or sales tax. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations to the rate of value added tax or sales tax. The current price will be shown when you place your order. All prices shown are cash prices in sterling. Prices of goods displayed in and ordered through Next Online may differ from prices in-stall or other online platforms i.e., Etsy, ClassBento
The tax included in the price is based on UK regulation, for international parcels, extra import tax may occur please check with your local customs.
Usage
All products are sold on the basis that they are suitable for domestic use only. Please contact us for further information if you intend using any products, designs, footages or workshop resources in a business or public environment.
Availability
All orders for products are subject to availability. In the event of seasonal supply difficulties of handmade items, we reserve the right to all the made-to-order items.
Language
This information is supplied in English only and we will continue to communicate in this way during your agreement with us.
