Make space for your own creative time. This beginner silk painting kit brings an artist-guided course into your home, with clear video lessons you can pause and replay as you work. Learn the method step by step, practise each technique, and build confidence to use what you learn in future paintings.

The course is designed for two people, so you can paint at your own pace on your own or share the experience with a friend. No previous drawing or painting experience is needed.

LEARN FIVE REUSABLE TECHNIQUES

The video course guides you through five essential silk painting techniques:

• Flat wash
• Two-colour blend
• Gradient
• Light tone
• Dark background

Prepare the materials, practise each technique, see them used in a finished design, then put what you have learned into practice on your own silk paintings. Follow the course in one sitting or over several sessions.

Coffee Break Silk Painting® was created and made by Chinese visual artist Miu Shu at Huntly Silk Painting Studio in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

The kit brings together Miu’s beginner-friendly teaching method, guided video lessons, carefully selected silk painting designs and the materials needed to put those techniques into practice.
