I accept a small number of bespoke silk painting commissions each year.
The work is centred around culturally meaningful subjects — often rooted in place, memory, and quiet significance.

What I Create

This work centres around:

 

Scottish landmarks and landscapes
Culturally symbolic motifs (e.g. peony, botanical forms)
Personal pieces with cultural or emotional meaning

 

Each piece is developed with careful consideration of composition, colour harmony, and the nature of silk as a medium.

What I Don’t Take On

I do not take on:

Pet portraits
Highly realistic reproduction requests
Fast-turnaround or urgent orders
Projects without a clear concept or direction

Each stage is approached with care and clarity, allowing the work to develop at a natural pace.

Timeline

Lead time is typically 4–8 weeks.

Due to the nature of the process, rush orders are not available.
